~Meditate on Bassweight~
Happy New Year! Here is a free album for you ☺
I hope you enjoy this collection of work from a scope of time, featuring new production, flips of favorites, and tracks that sample DBZ, NASA, Mario, Bassnectar, Anna Yvette, Ember Island, Mark Farina, and my friend Ryan Jefferson performing! This traverses dub and glitch hop, to chill and funk jams. I love bass music, which has seen me through the biggest challenges of my existence, it is a life affirming form of vibration and sub frequency pressure that can elevate and empower one's consciousness. I’ve primarily been focused on melodic composition for a long time so this is just the beginning of my foray into bass production, especially with the intention to mix original live sets with these songs. I can’t begin to express enough thanks for the people who have supported this dream, and the moments I’ve shared with you amazing souls, 2015 has been the greatest and the toughest year ever and it’s the friends I’ve shared it with along the way that make this all possible, you realize the essence of the flow, which belongs to everyone. The aim of this music is to send euphoria sweeping through your body, enabling that centered state of mind ~
Also want to give a huge shoutout to Rick Brown, the mastering genius at Gxxks Labs (gxxks.co
) who manages to take my wildly random production and balance and boost it, I will be working with him for future releases so all music is properly mastered! And finally a big up to Subpac for being one of the most useful production tools I’ve ever had that enables me to work on subsonics with precision. Cheers to another year of bassweight my friends, here’s to more incredible times together!
